Case Study · AV & Smart Home Installation · Cumming, GA

From no website to top-3 local rankings in the first month.

Integrated Solutions of Georgia is Jeff Broughton’s AV and smart-home installation company in Cumming: TV mounting, home theaters, whole-home audio, cameras, networking, Starlink and commercial AV. Until July 2026 the business had no website at all. We showed Jeff a working demo on June 9, 2026, signed on July 7, launched on July 10, and then pointed local SEO at the areas Jeff actually wanted jobs in.

Starting From Zero

Jeff had the hard part already: hundreds of installs and a wall of five-star reviews. What he didn’t have was a website, so referrals had nowhere to land, Google had nothing to rank, and the calls that did come in were scattered across Georgia instead of close to home.

  • No website at all: nowhere to send a referral
  • Calls came from all over Georgia, not near home
  • 65 five-star reviews with no site to show them on
  • Two directories listing an old address
  • No analytics, so no way to count inquiries
  • Residential and commercial work with one phone number

The Business Profile and on-site SEO were fixed by launch. The citation campaign in month two tackled links, authority and local listings.

The brief

Calls closer to home.

Jeff was already getting calls, but from all over Georgia. A TV mount two hours away is a bad day. He wanted the phone to ring from Forsyth County and the GA-400 corridor, so instead of chasing statewide terms we built one page per target city, set the Business Profile service area to match, and launched a listings campaign to correct the directories that still showed an old address.

Jeff’s count after 90 days: 375% more calls, and now from the places he wanted. That figure is his, not ours, so we report it as his.

Twelve target cities, one page each

Each city page carries its own FAQ schema and local detail, from Lake Lanier lakefront wiring to new construction off GA-400.

Google Read It on Day One

A brand-new domain has to earn trust. Impressions and the number of different searches showing the site are the early signals that trust is building. Month one vs month three, from Search Console.

MetricMonth 1Month 3Change

Clicks3358+76%

140 clicks and 13,500 impressions in the first 90 days. Brand searches still bring most of the clicks; the service terms are climbing from pages two and three, which is normal for a domain this young. The listings work is what moves them.

What We Built & Why

1

A website from a blank page

37 pages: nine residential services, eight commercial services, twelve service areas, a project gallery, and a quote path on every one of them. Each service gets room to answer the questions someone asks before hiring.

2

Service-area architecture

One page per target city, with Lake Lanier and Forsyth County detail a visitor would recognize. Jeff wanted jobs closer to home, so the site focuses on the communities he wants to serve and connects each city to the relevant services.

3

Residential and commercial, separated

Homeowners and business buyers get their own menus, pages and proof, so a restaurant owner never reads about TV mounting above a fireplace.

4

Structured data for search and AI

Local business, service, FAQ and breadcrumb markup describe what ISG does, where it works and how the pages connect. The aim is to make those facts clear to search engines and AI tools as well as to the people reading the site.

5

Business Profile and listings

Profile optimized at launch, then 75 hand-submitted directory listings and the three major data networks. Correcting the old address keeps customers from finding conflicting business details when they check ISG beyond its own website.

6

A quote path that gets measured

A quote form, tap-to-call links and a sticky call bar on phones give visitors a clear way to get in touch. The GA4 funnel separates starting a form from submitting an inquiry, so the next round of improvements can focus on where people stop.

From proof to inquiry

Show what Jeff can do. Make it easy to ask for it.

Show the work

Let the finished installs do the talking.

A homeowner planning a Frame TV and a restaurant owner planning a full AV system need different examples. The gallery brings Jeff's real installations together, with service and city filters that help visitors find a project like theirs.

Project details give the photos context: what was installed, where the job was, and which services went into it. That gives a referral something concrete to look at before calling.

Make contact simple

Turn interest into a useful conversation.

Once someone is ready, the next step should be easy to find. Phone and email sit beside the quote form, so visitors can choose how they want to get in touch. Service choices and a project description give Jeff context for the first conversation.

The project address is optional, and visitors can select more than one service. Someone planning a theater, networking and lighting can explain the whole job in one request.
